Our story
Four generations. One family bar.
Our great-gran Margaret — “Ma Magee” — started the family bar in the 1940s, and for generations it has been at the heart of the village, with an off-sales next door.
In 2025 we renovated, swapped the bar and the off-sales around, and Maggie’s became a European-style café and wine bar serving thoughtfully curated wines, pints and cocktails, and seasonal small plates to share and relax.
Whether you’re stopping by for a spontaneous drink or settling in for the evening, we invite you to feel at home.
